About Stars and Stripes

Fireworks became synonymous with the Fourth of July when Washington famously declared, "We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!"

The Greater Chamber is bringing San Antonio's largest and longest fireworks spectacular to the skies over downtown for the second annual Stars & Stripes over San Antonio, an Independence Day celebration. Eye-popping sky explosions will light up the night at our beloved HemisFair Park and will be visible for miles. In the spirit of American tradition, we'll have live music, patriotic anthems, hot food and cold drinks.

"We all have childhood memories of watching fireworks in our hometowns on July 4th – through The Chamber, we'll give our city the same, long-lasting American tradition."
